"Love Me Deadly"

Ok.. for years visiting necro-enthusists have been recommending to me to watch that cult necro favorite, "Love Me Deadly"... you know, that 70's thing with Lyle Wagner in it.  So, I decided that since this film was not available at my local Blockbuster I'd purchase a copy from Ebay.

Um.. well... anyone want a copy?  This film truly sucked... not from its apparent subject matter but the storyline and acting were yakking, not to mention the poor special effects.  I can't imagine anyone getting an erection watching this thing.  The only redeeming thing watching this regurgitation was seeing a younger Christopher Stone (the blond boyfriend).  He was a common character actor in the late 70's and 80's in film and TV (he has a mustche later in life).  He seemed to play characters that were basically non-violent... more like you would find on Lifetime made-for-TV.  He married actress Dee Wallace (the mom on ET) and starred with her in "Cujo" and "The Howling".  I recall the reports of him passing from a heart attack in '95 at the age of 53.

Mukasey Collapses!

As I am writing this I am watching CNN's video of Attorney General Mukasey speaking and then collapsing at the podium.  I dunno.. looks like to me that he simply got bored in what he was saying and fell asleep.

I Think She's Hot!

Sarah Palin.  I mean, what she's saying isn't exactly making a lot of sense, but she sure does look cool.  But when I imagine her as Veep, I am getting an image of old McCain sending her out to grab coffee all around for the cabinet members.  But I gotta admit.. that new Pakistani president sure did react to her looks.  Maybe it wouldn't hurt sending diplomatic eye candy out on some shuttle diplomacy.  It may be true that each nation has a different political and econonimc agenda regarding the United States, but there is one basic thing the vast majority of world leaders have in common... they all have a penis, hence they all like hot chicks (well, ok, maybe one or two might be gay).

WELCOME TO MY NEW BLOG!!

Yep, that's right.. good ole' Rob's ego has struck yet again and now I have a blog to further communicate my interests and opinions to the unsuspecting world.  Well, for now the blog will remain 'open membership', meaning to post a comment you will be asked for a name and an email address.  Obviously you can put down anything you want and I'm not making a list of visiters' emails so I can bother anyone.  But if you want to stay abrest of the posts and comments you might want to consider setting the feed notifications so you get an email when something is posted in here.  If comments get too wacky and uncontrollable, I'll set the settings to a 'closed blog', thus forcing people who want to post to actually register as a blog member.
